Sunday Tech Checklist

March 2022

This checklist is a summary of the key components needed to get things ready for use on a Sunday morning. If you’re not familiar with some of the stuff below, please read through the Reference Guide to get familiar with the parts we’re using during a Sunday morning service.

Power and Setup

• Place and turn on projector.
• Turn on soundboard + amp -> Press the Scene button -> Recall HopeFellowship scene.
• Turn on camera.
• Check ATEM Mini is ON.
• Login to Media Computer (right-side, big screen) -> Open PowerPoint -> Open ‘This Sunday’ folder.
• Login to Broadcast Laptop (left-side, laptop) -> Open OBS.

Checks

• On Media Computer run countdown video.
  • Check audio in house.
  • Check audio level in OBS (should be between -20db and -15db).
• Run PowerPoint slideshow (press F5) -> Check OK on projector.
• Press CUT on the ATEM Mini to switch between Camera and Computer. Watch program video in OBS.
• Press Picture in Picture ON button on ATEM Mini to test video overlay on PowerPoint.
• Turn on headset mic.
  • Check batteries.
  • Un-mute channel 13 -> check in house. Check audio volume in OBS. (should be around -10db). (Mix3 goes to OBS).
  • Check the band mix in house (LR) and in the broadcast (Mix3 goes to OBS).

Go Live – 9:55am

• Display PowerPoint 1^st slide (full bleed image)
• Start Streaming + Start Recording in OBS.  Wait 1 minute.
• Run countdown video.
• When countdown finishes un-mute pastor’s mic + switch to CAMERA (1).
• Switch to MEDIA COMPTUER (4) and press Picture in Picture ON.
• Make sure that PowerPoint has focus to Mike’s clicker can ‘hear’ it.

Strike the Set

• Create new folder under Archive -> 2022 with today’s date.
• Copy recording from OBS Recordings to the new folder.
• Copy the PPT from This Sunday to the new folder.
• Turn sound board and camera off.
• Turn projector off and roll away.
